Immunity is our body's ability to fight toxins. These toxins can be bacteria, viruses, fungus, parasites or any other harmful substances. If our immunity is strong, it not only protects us from cold and cough, but also protects us from many diseases including hepatitis, lung infection, kidney infection.

There are many pathogens around us. We do not even know and we absorb harmful elements with food, drinking and even breathing. Even after this, not everyone falls ill. Those who have a strong immune system cope better with these external infections. We can find out about our immunity from blood report, but our body also starts giving us many types of signals.

Repeated infections or allergies :-

If you feel that you are sick more often than others, complain of a cold, have a problem like cough, sore throat or skin rashes, then it is very possible that your immune system Be due to. Types of immunity :- 

Immunity is of two types - Inet immunity and Additive immunity.

Inet immunity: It gives protection to the person against diseases but it is not long term.


Additive immunity: It gives the person protection against diseases as well as long term protection against specific pathogens.


Why immunity is weak :-

  • Unnecessary accumulation of fat in the body.

  • Excess intake of fast food, junk food etc.
  • Not properly nourishing the body.
  • Long-term use of painkillers, antibiotics etc.
  • Staying under stress for a long time.
  • Sleeping less or sleeping unnecessarily for a longer period of time.

  •  Long live in polluted environment.
  • In childhood and old age the immunity power is usually somewhat weak, but due to poor lifestyle it can be weak in puberty too.
  • If you eat more sugar then it is harmful for immunity. According to a research published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, the ability of white blood cells to kill microbes in the event of eating 100 grams or more of sugar weakens for up to five hours.
  • Drinking less water weakens immunity, because it becomes difficult to remove foreign liquids from the body due to lack of sufficient water.

How to strengthen your immune system :-

Water

It is a natural medicine. Due to the intake of plenty of pure water, many kinds of toxic substances deposited in the body come out and the immunity increases. The water is either at a normal temperature or a bit lukewarm. Avoid fridge water intake.

The most part of our body consists of water.  Therefore, the first effective step to strengthen the immunity system is to drink enough water.  Water helps to flush out the toxins from our body.  Keeps our kidney functioning healthy.  

Drinking water in a copper vessel increases its quality.  Water provides energy to our muscles, improves intestinal activity.  To stay healthy it is necessary to drink at least 7-8 glasses of water a day.  Avoid quenching thirst with soda, alcohol, tea or coffee.

Juicy Fruit

Juicy fruits like oranges, seasonal etc. contain plenty of mineral salts and vitamin C. They play an important role in increasing immunity. If you want to eat whole fruits and if you want, then take them out and consume them. Yes, do not add sugar or salt to the juice.

Spotted Fruit

Consumption of kerned fruits is beneficial in winter season. It is very beneficial to keep them soaked overnight and taken with morning tea or milk, half an hour before eating.

Sprouted grains

Drink plenty of sprouted grains (such as moong, moth, gram, etc.) and soaked pulses.  Sprouting of grains increases the capacity of the nutrients present in them.  They are easy to digest, nutritious and delicious.

Salad

Use salads more and more with meals.  Salad intake is necessary for complete digestion of food.  Add cucumber, tomato, radish, carrot, cabbage, onion, beet etc. to the salad.  The salt present in them is sufficient for us.  Do not add salt on top.

Bran cereal

Eat grains like wheat, jowar, millet, maize with bran.  This will not cause constipation and resistance will remain tight.

Basil

Tulsi has its own religious importance but at the same time it is also beneficial in increasing antibiotics, pain relievers and immunity.  Take 3-5 leaves of basil daily.

Yoga

Yoga and Pranayama play a very important role in keeping the body healthy and disease free.  These should be practiced at home everyday after learning them from a knowledgeable person.

Use the body

Just as the use of iron does not cause rust in it, in the same way the immune system becomes sluggish due to not using the body.  Exercise daily to strengthen the immune system.  

Use stairs instead of lift.  Instead of taking an auto-taxi for a short walk, walk.  By doing this, the blood flow in your body is accelerated.  Digestion is accelerated.  Even if you are doing a desk job, take time out and take a little stroll in between. 

 By doing this, the body remains flexible.  "People between 10 and 18 years should exercise for one hour daily.  People from the age of 18 to 60-65 years should do at least 150 minutes of aerobic exercise a week and two days of wet exercise or muscle toning exercise. ”

It is necessary to laugh

Laughing makes the blood circulation smooth and our body receives a lot of oxygen.  Being relaxed and laughing helps in increasing the immunity of the body.

How to maintain the immune system:-


Keep the body clean:-

A strong immune system requires a clean environment, because the risk of infection due to dirt increases.  Due to being in contact with dirt or germs throughout the day, wash hands thoroughly with an antibacterial lotion.  

Wash fruits and vegetables thoroughly before eating and cooking.  Clean your hands thoroughly before cooking and eating.  Take a bath daily.  Keep the body as clean as possible.  Doing this will prevent infection, the mind will be happy and this refreshment will work to boost your immune system.

Soak up the warm sun in the morning:-

Vitamin D increases immunity and is lacking in most people.  The most effective remedy for this is to bake the lukewarm sunlight in the morning sun.  

Vitamin D helps in the absorption of calcium in the body, which makes our bones strong.

Stay away from stress:-

The immune system is also a matter related to our mental and emotional activities.  When we are in stress, our immune system weakens.  

Secretion of cortisol hormone increases in the event of stress, which conspires to make us sick.  Do yoga, pranayam daily to remove stress.  Perform happy activities like meditation, dancing and sex.


Get enough sleep:-

6-8 hours of sleep is very important for our body and brain to function properly.  Enough deep sleep helps in rebuilding the cells.  If you do not get enough sleep, then the immune system weakens due to lack of time to rebuild.  

Adequate sleep not only maintains your energy and mood, but it also prevents stroke, and helps to keep the weight balanced.  Stay away from alcohol and cigarettes.  When there is no choice left, resort to injection.  If the immune system is too weak, you can take an injection of immunoglobulin extracted from a donor's blood, after consulting a doctor.

Eat properly :-

People have become more knowledgeable about food.  Most people are beginning to know that carbohydrate gives energy, protein makes the tissues strong.  

But most people do not know the right way to eat food, because people do not have time.  It takes about 15 minutes for the satiety center of the brain to report the food you eat.  

But people empty the plates of food within five-seven minutes.  In such a situation, there is a signal of your starvation from the brain, while you have eaten more than necessary.  

Therefore, it is important that you chew it properly and eat it.  So that the body can be satisfied with less food.  Eating properly, the nutrients of the food reach the bone marrow in plenty, where white blood cells are produced to fight against diseases.

While eating, keep in mind that what we are eating, it will be easily digested.  Food expert says that vegetables, fruits and sprouted grains are digested in 13 hours, cooked vegetables and pulses take 24 hours to digest, while non-vegetarian and fried foods take 72 hours to digest.  

There is such a system of our body clock that from four in the morning till noon the body is ready to take out the leftovers of the digested food, our immune system is ready to eat and digest from noon to eight o'clock and at eight o'clock in the night  From four o'clock in the morning, there is preparation for absorption and use of the diet.  

Therefore, every meal we eat, it should have 35% protein, 35% carbohydrate, 15% salad and 5% oil.  That is to say, the food should have one protein rich dish, one or two carbohydrate dishes, green salad and chutney of garlic, coriander, mint, etc.
